White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito has thrown 22 consecutive scoreless innings getting into Friday’s start towards the Yankees at Assured Fee Area.
In his last seven starts, Giolito is 7-0 with a 0.88 ERA, 25 hits allowed, 59 strikeouts and 10 walks in fifty one 1/3 innings.

Third baseman Yoan Moncada is out of the starting lineup for the third consecutive recreation. He left Monday’s recreation towards the Nationals with higher-back tightness.
Renteria stated he hopes Moncada shall be ready Saturday or Sunday.
“We’ll evaluate him at the end of the day and see where he’s at,” Renteria stated.
CC Sabathia (three-3, 3.96 ERA) makes the beginning for the Yankees. The veteran lefthander allowed four runs and seven hits in five innings in a loss Saturday towards the Indians.
