Southern Poverty Law Center fires co-founder Morris Dees, citing misconduct



“Efficient yesterday, Morris Dees’ employment at the Southern Poverty Regulation Middle (SPLC) was terminated,” stated Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Regulation Middle, in a press release. “As a civil rights organization, the SPLC is dedicated to ensuring that the conduct of our employees displays the mission of the group and the values we hope to instill on the planet. When considered one of our personal fails to satisfy those requirements, regardless of his or her position within the organization, we take it significantly and must take applicable action.”
