Jason Heyward returns to the Cubs lineup against Dodgers starter Rich Hill

Dealing with three left-handers in a 4-recreation collection has prompted Cubs manager Joe Maddon to select his spots when beginning some of his left-handed hitters.

Meaning Jason Heyward will return to the lineup Friday night time towards Dodgers starter Wealthy Hill.

Heyward, who by no means has confronted Hill, didn’t start Thursday towards Clayton Kershaw. Heyward is batting .208 in 48 at-bats towards lefties this season.

Carlos Gonzalez, another left-handed hitter, won’t start for the second consecutive recreation.

No Cubs starting position participant has greater than three profession at-bats towards Hill.

Kyle Hendricks, who is 6-0 with a 1.99 ERA in his last eight starts, will oppose Hill.

Here is the Cubs lineup:

Schwarber LF

Bryant 3B

Rizzo 1B

Baez SS

Contreras C

Almora Jr. CF

Heyward RF

Hendricks P

Russell 2B
