Gov. Gavin Newsom to pull National Guard from California’s border with Mexico

Newsom’s basic order Monday will assign one hundred ten personnel to help the California Department of Forestry and Hearth Safety in getting ready for wildfire season. One other one hundred members shall be devoted to intelligence operations towards drug cartels, with a small group of these stationed at factors of entry. The governor’s workplace is individually requesting funding from the federal government to add a minimum of one hundred fifty troops with the California National Guard’s Counterdrug Process Pressure, in accordance with Nathan Click on, a spokesman for the governor.
