The grandfather of a northwestern Wisconsin woman who was kidnapped during a home invasion that left her mother and father lifeless stated Saturday that the household has no connection to the suspect and does not perceive why he focused her, deepening a mystery that has captivated the state for months.
Somebody blasted open the door of James and Denise Closs’ house near Barron in October, gunned the couple down and made off with their thirteen-yr-previous daughter, Jayme Closs.
Jayme was lacking for almost three months when she approached a stranger in the small, remoted north woods town of Gordon and pleaded for assist.
