Jasmine Montoya-Patchett takes a few minutes every day to look into a mirror and say: “I am enough.”

A California mom makes time every day to look in the mirror and tell herself: “I am enough.”

Jasmine Montoya-Patchett, a life alchemist, wife and mom to 4-year-old son Noah, says this mirror technique is her way of combating mom guilt, unfair expectations and society standards.

She’s encouraging moms to do the same: Find a small mirror. Write “I am enough on it.” Look into the mirror for at least two to three minutes a day and repeat the phrase.

“We’re raised in a society where we are always comparing ourselves. We feel like we are not good enough … Let’s start rewiring our brain to positive thinking,” Montoya-Patchett of Carlsbad said.
