(CNN) — A federal judge Friday ordered hundreds of pages of documents unsealed in connection with the investigation of the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.
Gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd at a Las Vegas music festival in October, killing 58 people and wounding or injuring hundreds of others.
CNN and other media organizations sued to unseal search warrant affidavits gathered by the FBI in the days and weeks after the shooting.
On Friday, a judge in Nevada ordered hundreds of pages turned over the media.
The documents give a glimpse into the early workings of the investigation just days after the shooting happened.
This is a developing story. Details to come.
